Before the finale, there is the third place match, this Saturday at 1am PT. Co-hosts Australia look to end their WWC run with a medal. Sweden hopes to bag their fifth WWC medal (three bronze, one silver). Sweden has always been the "bridesmaid" of the WWC, never being able to win that last game to earn the title. Australia on the other hand, has never made it past the QuarterFinals.

Sweden has been pretty hit or miss this tournament, flipping between playing their best football and their worst with every match. This game is truly Australia's to win. However, win or lose, Australia has made history and their tournament will certainly be considered a success.

Projected Starting XI's:

Sweden:

They've kept their line-up pretty consistent, using mainly a 4-3-2-1 set up. It is expected that they'll keep that formation. They have shown no reason/need to change things up. I expect the same starting XI as the game vs Spain.

11 - Stina Blackstenius

18 - Fridolina Rolfö, 9 - Kosovare Asllani, 19 - Johanna Kaneryd

23 - Elin Rubensson, 16 - Filippa Angeldal

2 - Jonna Andersson, 6 - Magdalena Eriksson, 13, Amanda Ilestedt, 14 - Nathalie Björn

1 - Zecira Musovic

Australia:

They've used a 4-4-2 formation for every match. and have hardly made any changes to their XI. Now that Sam Kerr is back to full form and they're still without Alana Kennedy, I expect the same starting XI as the England game.

20 - Sam Kerr, 11 - Mary Fowler

9 - Caitlin Foord, 23 - Kyra Cooney-Cross, 19 - Katrina Gorry, 16 - Hayley Raso

7 - Steph Catley, 4- Clare Polkinghorne, 15 - Clare Hunt, 21 - Ellie Carpenter

18 - Mackenzie Arnold
